Laparoscopic Surgery
Laparoscopic surgical technique can be used for tubal ligations, certain hysterectomies, removal of ovarian cysts, and treatment of endometriosis. During laparoscopic surgery, a lighted viewing instrument is inserted through a tiny incision, and carbon dioxide creates working space so Dr. Mitchell can navigate the area. This surgery can usually be performed on an outpatient basis.
